GETTING STARTED
First Steps
ADIR can be run manually from the joystick, or it can be run using the CAN interface. These functions can be accessed via the main interface console:
Main switch
Battery indicator
Joystick connector (Quicklock 12 – 5 pin)
CAN connector (Quicklock 12 – 8 pin)
Emergency switch
Battery charging port
How to Turn On
Turn main switch, so the arrow is pointing to the green “on” (green) area
Pull the emergency stop, in order to put ADIR into operation mode
Now you can manouver ADIR using the plugged in joystick mode. Use the thumb joystick to drive ADIR forwards/backwards and to turn
On the back of the joystick is a red button, currently configured for speedy mode. Pressing it will result in a higher speed
How to Turn Off
Press the emergency button down
Turn the main switch toward the “off” (red) area
Now ADIR is all set to be stored or parked – make sure to check the battery levels every 4 weeks and charge if necessary
Battery Indicator
During operation the on/off button on the battery indicator can be used to turn off and on the screen
Using the “mode” button on the battery indicator, either battery voltage or temperature are shown
